Caney Fork Rock Festival

For this event Middle Tennessee Fly Fishers teamed up with Cumberland Chapter of Trout Unlimited for a stream enhancement project at the Happy Hollow access point on the Caney Fork River.  Both groups met Sunday morning October 5th at around 7:30.  We created the 3 planned structures along with one additional structure.  I feel this was a great start to an alliance between the two groups.  I hope that this alliance between MTFF and the local chapter of TU will continue to grow.  This will only benefit the clubs and the trout here in middle Tennessee.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this project successful.  Please watch the upcoming newsletters for information on additional projects similar to this one. 

Did I forget to mention that we were finished with the project and were on the river fishing by noon?
